The aim of the course is to present the heritage of Polish Jews – their fortunes, history of activity in Poland, relations with the Poles, spiritual and material heritage as well. The following topics will also be discussed: the image of Jews in Polish-language cultural texts, the ways of commemorating historical events with their participation, and popularizing Jewish culture in contemporary Poland.
